As if the job market wasn't bad enough, now we have to worry about another rival: machines.
And while the DomiCopter is possibly a PR stunt, it's definitely not too far off from what the future of food delivery probably holds.
Able to climb hundreds of feet into the air and avoid traffic, food would come to you quicker and hotter—especially with Domino's patented 'HeatWave' pizza protector.
When reached for comment, Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director at Domino's stated:
"At Dominos we’re always looking to innovate and find new ways to deliver our pizza and a DomiCopter could fit the bill perfectly. We are the number one pizza delivery company and we are committed to staying in that position.
"What better way to totally avoid the traffic than to fly - if anything this will now make us even quicker! We think it's a great way to reinforce that Domino's go to more lengths than anyone to deliver great pizza."
