The suspects did not return to their apartment on Thursday night and left uneaten food out on a table. The brothers were apprehended following a gunfight in Watertown after they allegedly killed an MIT campus police officer in Cambridge.

The brothers' unkempt apartment was tucked away behind a makeshift door made out of flimsy plywood.
