Shoppers in Smithers, British Columbia were stunned last night to see a moose walking through the floral department of their local Safeway grocery store.
"People were feeding it outside, rolling apples back and forth trying to get it to eat them. And it was eating them, and it was very, very disturbing. They should've just left it alone," witness Harold Gyger told CBC News.

"And at that point, then, the moose started following people in the store and walked completely in the electronic doors."
A worker can be seen trying to lure the animal out of the store with an apple. It doesn't appear that anyone was hurt.
