Lindsay Lohan is P*SSED at Tom Brokaw!

What do Amanda Bynes, Paris Hilton, Justin Bieber, and Tom Brokaw all have in common? Correct, they’ve all feuded with Lilo. Yesterday, Tom Brokaw told Politico, that he told the White House “No thanks” when he was invited to the 2013 White House Correspondence Dinner taking place tonight in D.C.

More specifically Brokaw said:

What kind of image do we present to the rest of the country? Are we doing their business, or are we just a group of narcissists who are mostly interested in elevating our own profiles?’ And what comes through the screen on C-SPAN that night is the latter, and not the former…

People about my age said, ‘Thank God you finally spoke out on that. We’ve felt that way for some time.’ Others were defensive, including the officers [of the WHCA] about the money they raised for scholarships. Look, I don’t believe in just eating your spinach. I want to have a good time, too. I’ve worked in Washington. I still spend a lot of time down there. I know the value of having a dinner and having a productive social evening with somebody who’s a contact of some kind.

Today TMZ is reporting that Lilo is taking it personally. The gossip site reports:

Tom Brokaw is a bully … so says Lindsay Lohan … who’s telling friends the legendary journalist’s harsh comments about her ruining last year’s White House Correspondent’s dinner were totally uncalled for.

Lilo attended the affair last year as a guest of Fox News’ talking head and Scientologist Greta Van Susteren (me neither).

And it isn’t just Lilo giving Brokaw what for, today MSNBC Host Alex Wagner told Politico:

As a former White House Correspondent, it’s really nice for people in politics and media to come together and have a little weekend of fun, I understand the idea of the ‘celebrification’ of the event but I think it’s more of a testament to how interesting and compelling Washington politics is to the outside world.

And just in case there was any question over the integrity of the White House dinner, TMZ reports today that the case of Duck Dynasty will also be attending the party tonight.

Indeed.
