Adam Savader, 21, from Great Neck, New York, is a former intern for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, Paul Ryan, and for former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. He was a former Politics student at State University of New York at Farmingdale.
Here's what you need to know...
1. He's Accused of Sexually Blackmailing Girls He Knew
An FBI press release indicates that Savader is alleged to have hacked into the AOL accounts of girls he knew and obtained compromising pictures of them that at least one Detroit based girl says she intended to be sent to her boyfriend. The sicko promised them that if they didn't provide him with more pornographic images they would find their naked bodies plastered all around the Internet, and in one case, he's accused of saying that he would send lewd images to the Republican National Committee.
To demonstrate his seriousness, Savader is alleged to have posted one picture to Photobucket. Politico writes:
Savader allegedly sent the woman a picture of her mother to show her he could access her family and told the woman he was masturbating to her photos.
One message is alleged to have read:
Do it from ur phone RIGHT NOW! I swear to God don’t be stupid. U don’t want every1 including your parents seeing your t--s (and) ass.
WAIT! Listen to me. If we don’t have a deal I will send the pictures to those people. Is that what u want? remember what’s at stake. do u want ur family and everyone in DC to see your t—-s? Just agree to e-mail me a pic of you in a bra.
The tech-savvy Savader used anonymous Google voice numbers to send messages, sometimes as much as eight a day, to the girls, whose locations varied from New York, Washington D.C. and Michigan.
2. One Girl Stood Up To Him
At least one of the victims that Savader is alleged to have preyed upon, notified the Ann Arbor Police Department of what was happening to her. After cops teamed up with the FBI, they identified 15 more girls across the country who were victims of the scheme. The messages were sent between August 2012 and April 2013.
3. He's a GOP Groupie
Looking through Savader's Facebook photo stream is a relative who's-who of the Republican party and Conservative commentators.
