A class act in a wheelchair assaulted a pregnant woman at the Vancouver Metrotown Skytrain Station, punching her repeatedly in the face, head and stomach.
The 7-months pregnant woman was in an elevator at the station with another woman, and both were pushing strollers. Before the door could close, a man in an electric wheelchair forced his way in, running over the pregnant woman’s feet.
After she confronted him and an argument ensued, she told him she was going to call the police. At that point the man began physically assaulting her, punching her repeatedly in the face, head and stomach.

Before the doors opened at street level, she was able to snap a picture of him on her phone.
She then went to the hospital where she was treated for numerous cuts, bruises and scratches to her face, hands and legs. She was released later that evening.
The suspect is described as an aboriginal male, between 25 to 35 years old, with black hair, brown eyes and a moustache and goatee. He was wearing glasses.
