"I was responsible for the filming of a minor masturbating," Brooks told Brooklyn federal Magistrate Judge Roanne Mann.
The aide, who works at P.S. 243, also pleaded guilty to having “regularly downloaded and distributed videos and images depicting child pornography over the Internet through a peer-to-peer file sharing program," according to the FBI. An undercover agent caught Brooks when the agent friend-requested Brooks on a file-sharing program and was then able to access graphic videos and images. Police searched his home and confiscated his computer the next month and found hundreds of videos and images containing child pornography.
A photo of Brooks dressed up in an Easter bunny costume was featured on the school's website, but has since been removed after his arrest.
The Brooklyn school aide will be sentenced in May and faces 15-50 years in prison.
