It seems that NASA released a video regarding the Dec. 21 Mayan doomsday date a tad bit early. The YouTube video titled "Why the World Didn't End Yesterday" is a four minute clip explaining how the Mayan apocalypse is a hoax and how the rumors got started.
The video begins with "12.22.2012. If you're watching this video, it means one thing; the world didn't end yesterday."
The team at NASA either got their dates wrong, or is so sure that the world won't end in the coming weeks that they put the video up 10 days early. Way to go NASA!
Though, I get the strange feeling that NASA just jinxed it for all of humanity.
