Freakish Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova: Real or Phony?

She’s a Barbie Girl and it’s her world. But is this freak a total fraud? That’s what critics say about 21-year-old Valeria Lukyanova.

According to the Daily Mail, Lukyanova was dubbed the “Michael Jackson of the Ukraine” by The Dirty due to her absurd, plastic appearance.

Fraud or not, this real-life Barbie was chosen to model for V Magazine alongside Kate Hudson and Rihanna’s S&M shoot.

In an interview with V, Lukyanova denies having had any plastic surgery except for breast implants, according to Zap 2 It:

“Many people say bad things about people who want to perfect themselves,” says Valeria. “It’s hard work, but they dismiss it as something done by surgeons or computer artists. This is how they justify not wanting to strive for self-improvement.” The living Barbie doll claims she’s not obsessed with appearance. “People don’t understand that it has nothing to do with looks.”

Right.

Lukyanova follows a precise method when applying makeup:

Lukyanova believes there is nothing wrong with perfecting herself and says she’s under attack because success breed jealousy and ridicule.

The model maintains her figure using an all-liquid diet and is said be an out-of-body traveler as well as a mountain climber. Huh?

She explains to ABC News her beliefs in the metaphysical and spiritual worlds:

“I’m a teacher at the School of Out-of-Body Travel. It’s an international school in which our instructors show students how to leave their physical body and travel in their spiritual body, where you can visit any place on the planet and in the universe,” she says. “I know that this is the future of mankind and that it has huge potential. Hidden reserves will be tapped soon.” Lukyanova says her spiritual name is Amatue, an Atlantean reference to the goddess of the sun. Though she describes herself as the “most famous woman of the Russian-speaking Internet,” Lukyanova says she is unfazed by the attention over her looks.

“If people care about me I am on the right path. I never hear bad things,” she said.
