Formerly great closer and current middling reliever for the Milwaukee Brewers, Francisco Rodriguez was arrested at his home on September 17 for domestic violence. The incident involved his girlfriend.
No charges have been filed as of yet, but the case is still under review.
However, Francisco Rodriguez, better known as K-rod, has a history of being an utter dirtbag. In 2010 he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend’s father after a Mets’ loss.
Obviously we don’t know all the details in either arrest, however, if it is true that he was set off to beat on his girlfriend’s father by a Mets’ loss, he may have some anger issues. I don’t know, I’m not a psychiatrist. All I’m saying is that hitting someone because the Mets lost is kind of like hitting someone because the sun rose today. It’s not exactly an uncommon event.
