Women Caught Smuggling Cocaine in Weave at New York Airport

John F. Kennedy Airport

This one sounds like the set-up for a cheesy Wayans brother’s movie.

Two women were allegedly caught smuggling cocaine hidden under their wigs and hair extensions at John F. Kennedy Airport, reports The Daily Caller. The women were sporting tall hairdos and were arrested early Sunday morning after an inspection revealed over two pounds of cocaine concealed under their wigs. Kiana Howell and Makeeba Graham got off of a plane from South America when their strange behavior prompted the pat down.

Howell claimed that she did not know the contents of the package that was sewn into her weave and that her boyfriend told her to bring it into America that way. The beehive-haired duo are faced with charges of drug-smuggling. Graham was released on a $100,000 bond and Howell remains in custody for a hearing on Thursday.
