Tom Brokaw Rushed to Hospital in Ambien-Induced Haze in Charlotte, NC

Tom Brokaw, the former “NBC Nightly News” anchor was taken to a hospital in Charlotte. Brokaw reportedly was complaining of feeling light-headed during and after an episode taping of the television program “Morning Joe”. He was promptly taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Tom Brokaw has been working almost non-stop during the Democratic National Convention seemingly being everywhere at once. He’s been seen on the early morning “Morning Joe” tapings, with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, to chats with Sean Hannity. On top of this he is a “Special Correspondent” for NBC; reporting and giving analysis on a variety of programs the network has under it’s wing. Tom Brokaw is 72.
