The madman behind the Dark Knight Rises massacre sent a notebook detailing his murderous plans — complete with stick figures shooting other stick figures — to a University of Colorado shrink. But no one opened the package until it was too late, reports Fox News.
According to Fox's source:
Inside the package was a notebook full of details about how he was going to kill people. ... There were drawings of what he was going to do in it - drawings and illustrations of the massacre.
That's right — a package with information that could have prevented last week's senseless slaughter sat unopened in a mailroom since July 12, never delivered to its addressee.
It was addressed to a professor who treats students at an outpatient facility at the University of Colorado Anschutz medical campus in Aurora, where Holmes was Ph.D. candidate in neuroscience before dropping out. Whether this doctor had treated Holmes was not divulged.
