In the latest fallout from the Dark Knight Rises massacre in Colorado, a New Jersey theater was evacuated Monday night after a theatergoer was spooked when someone opened an exit door, reports NJ.com. Cops couldn't determine who opened the door and proceeded to evacuate some 100 Batman fans from the Edgewater Multiplex. James Holmes, shooter in the Colorado tragedy, gained access through an exit door before allegedly killing 12 and wounding 58 more. Tensions have run high at theaters, with moviegoers paranoid at the prospect of a copycat.
Juan C. was in attendance at Edgewater and tweeted about his experience:
Thank you to the asshole in the movie theater for opening emerg door and getting SWAT to scare everyone

Timothy Courtois

Clark Tabor
The New Jersey incident comes after Maine police arrested a man with an arsenal of weapons in his car who said he attended a showing of the Batman flick while packing a loaded gun. Timothy Courtois, 49, had news clippings of the Colorado shooting and said he was on the way to shoot an ex-boss.
In yet another incident, a southern California man named Clark Tabor, 52, was busted on Sunday night at a showing of the movie when, frustrated that the movie hadn't begun, he allegedly said “Does anyone have a gun? ... I should go off like in Colorado.”
