netiquette

HeavySan want you to have sumo-sized fun here at Heavy.com. But remember that, much like karate, great fun comes with great responsibility. The following are our recommended guidelines for how to use your Heavy account in a way that is fair and considerate to everyone.

personal responsibility

You alone are responsible for the content you post, and the consequences of that content, including:

  • Cyberstalking/cyberharassing results in automatic deletion of the offender's account. Internet predators, false impersonators, and cyber-bullies are creepy and are not welcome on Heavy. Instead, grow up and / or get help for your mental condition.
  • Any material that exploits children is illegal and will not be tolerated. If a member posts any material of this nature, their account will automatically be deleted and proper authorities will be contacted. Exploitation of minors, or anyone for that matter, is a serious crime, and will be treated as such.
  • Expressions of racism, bigotry, hatred, and abuse may be constitutionally protected on the streets, but we have no obligation to protect them on Heavy. These things anger HeavySan, and people who post them are not welcome here.
  • Any depiction of anyone, especially minors, consuming unlawful substances such as alcohol or drugs is illegal and your account will be deleted immediately. No kidding.
  • Depictions of wanton and/or graphic violence are not welcome and will not be tolerated. Your account will be removed, possibly along with your freedom, as the proper authorities will be notified.

more dos and don'ts

  1. If we catch anyone attempting to sucker our members through email scams, fraud, or identity theft, then we'll automatically delete their account and turn them in to the proper authorities. That means no requests to help free your long lost uncle's money being held in a Nigerian bank. Hoaxers beware!
  2. We reserve the right to remove any content that isn't appropriate for our community. You know where to go to see naked women (or men); Heavy isn't one of them.
  3. Members who don't respect our rules might receive one or more warnings or even permanent exclusion from Heavy. Heavy has sole discretion to apply any of these sanctions at any time.
  4. Advertising and commercial solicitation by our members is not permitted in any way shape or form. If we see ads other than our own, we'll take them down ASAP.
  5. Any material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense or violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation is strictly prohibited. In other words, don't do anything that breaks the law!
