Metallica has curated a new festival that will take place at Bader Field in Atlantic City on June 23rd and 24th. Orion Music + More will feature Metallica as headlines on both nights, playing Ride The Lightning one night and The Black Album the next, both in entirety. It's a slightly surprising lineup for Metallica; definitely on the indie-r side of things: Best Coast, A Place To Bury Strangers, Titus Andronicus, Arctic Monkeys, Modest Mouse, Avenged Sevenfold, The Gaslight Anthem, F*cked Up, Cage The Elephant, Hot Snakes, The Black Angels, Liturgy and more to come as the date approaches. No mention of Lou Reed at this point.

Also: "More than just music, the festival will also feature a lifestyle element showcasing the band's individual interests - and allowing fans to interact directly with each of the band members."

Early bird passes go on sale February 11th. Head to the website for all the rockin details.
