Clint Eastwood Returns From Acting Retirement For ‘Trouble With the Curve’

posted August 8, 2012 by

The movie industry has been left with a void for the past three years, and that void is Clint Eastwood. The iconic actor / director is making his return in the baseball drama Trouble With the Curve. Not only is it Clint's first acting gig in three years, but he's acting in a movie directed by someone other than himself.

Robert Lorenz helms the movie in his directing debut in which Clint plays an aging Atlanta Braves scout with poor eyesight on a road trip with his daughter to check out a rookie power hitter. The film co-stars Amy Adams, John Goodman, and Justin Timberlake. JT in a Clint Eastwood flick, there's something we never thought would happen. Look for the baseball drama to hit theaters at the end of the baseball season in late September.
