Christopher Waltz teams up with Jamie Foxx as an abolitionist out to help a slave rescue his wife from a plantation owner in Quentin Tarantino's take on the old south. Don't expect historical accuracy, but do expect Tarantio's trademark violence. The film has been ripe with skepticism from the get-go with Kurt Russel, Kevin Costner, Jonah Hill, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt all dropping out for various reasons. Still, it's Tarantino and you know that his take on a spaghetti western set in the deep south is going to be interesting, to say the least.
