Becky Fuller (Rachel McAdams) is a hardworking TV producer who gets fired from her local news gig and then turns to the last place national news show. She moves to bring on legendary anchor Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford) but his bad attitude causes problems with the current cohost, Colleen Peck (Diane Keaton).
