Ridley Scott’s movie adaptation of Hasbro’s Monopoly is still scheduled to be released in 2012 or later, MTV reports. The movie will most likely be based off of financial crises, so let’s hope it’s not like releasing World Trade Center only a few years after the actual event. And who’s going to play the Monopoly Guy (a.k.a. Rich Uncle Pennybags for those keeping track)? Someone older like Ian McKellen? Or Ridley Scott favorite Russell Crowe?
