Will Ferrell has been a silver screen staple for over a decade now, and rightfully so—he’s hilarious, and arguably the best cast member in SNL’s rich history.
Kevin Hart on the other hand has been content playing sidekick and bit roles for a little while now, but with his film Think Like A Man earning himself a leading man reputation, it’s time for the little funny man to finally step into the spotlight. And he’ll do it alongside Ferrell for the comedy Get Hard.
Ferrell will play an investment bank manager who gets wrongly accused and convicted of a crime he didn’t commit and gets sentenced to some hard time. Hart will play the street-smart, hardened acquaintance that Ferrell commissions to train him for life on the inside. Sounds like gold to me.
Right now Ferrell is shooting the Anchorman sequel, and Hart is busy shooting Ride Along, with Ice Cube and John Leguizamo.
