We all saw it coming. The Saw franchise doesn't show any waning, so a seventh film in 3D probably doesn't come across as special or unusual. Especially since they've been pumping these out once a year since the original in 2004. Kevin Greutert (Saw VI) will direct the film that was written by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. It will be the first movie filmed on the SI-3D digital camera system, ComingSoon.net reports.
But there is some interesting news. Cary Elwes will return (you know, the dude who sawed his leg off in the first film). The story also focuses on a group of survivors who get together to find help from fellow survivor Bobby Dagen (Sean Patrick Flanery) who has a dark side that unleashes a new wave of terror.
