World Extreme Cagefighting’s Will Campuzano has been pulled from his WEC 49 prelim bout against Rafael Raebello. Campuzano will instead take Charlie Valencia’s place on the televised card against Eddie Wineland.
Valencia was forced off the card after suffering an injury in training.
Campuzano last saw action at WEC 46 in January, where he earned the “Fight of the Night” bonus for his bout with Coty Wheeler. Prior to that bout, he made his WEC debut against Damacio Page, a bout that saw Page score the win with a rear naked choke in short fashion.
WEC officials are expected to announce a new opponent for Rebello in the coming days.
