TUF 14 Finale earns 1,909 fans, gate of $453K

"The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale" drew 1,909 fans for a live gate of just under $453,000.

MMAjunkie.com confirmed the news today.

The event featured coach Michael Bisping's dominant technical knockout victory over opposing coach Jason "Mayhem" Miller. Also on the card, John Dodson and Diego Brandao became the first bantamweight and featherweight "Ultimate Fighter" winners, respectively.

The attendance fell short of the number of fans that watched "The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale" live, but the live gate was a bit higher.

The finale came after the series' fourteenth season on Spike TV, which is also the last on the network. The UFC and FOX broadcast deal now brings the long-running reality show to FX, and bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and top contender Urijah Faber are set to be coaches, upping the season's hype exponentially.
