Ortiz, Six Others Receive Medical Suspensions After UFC 133

Seven fighters who competed at last Saturday’s UFC 133 have been suspended due to medical reasons.

HeavyMMA.com requested and received a list of the suspensions on Monday morning.

Receiving the most serious suspension, Rafael Natal has been suspended indefinitely, while Yoshihiro Akiyama has been suspended for 60 days following his knockout loss to Vitor Belfort in the evening’s co-main event.

Also receiving suspensions, Tito Ortiz, Mike Pyle and Dennis Hallman will be on the shelf for 45 days, and Paul Bradley has been given the shortest suspension, as he will be out of action for 30 days. Matt Hamill also was  given a 45 day suspension, but due to his retirement, that has become irrelevant.

Yoshihiro Akiyama: Suspended 60 days due to head injuries
Dennis Hallman: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Mike Pyle: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Matt Hamill: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Tito Ortiz: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
Paul Bradley: Suspended 30 days for injured left knee
