Cody McKenzie Faces Yves Edwards at Fight For The Troops 2

Cody McKenzie has agreed to step in and face Yves Edwards at the Fight for the Troops 2 show in January.

Edwards was originally scheduled to face Melvin Guillard on the card, but as Heavy.com first reported, Guillard was pulled from the fight to replace Kenny Florian in the main event against Evan Dunham. MMAJunkie.com reported the McKenzie replacement on Tuesday morning.

“Fight for the Troops 2” takes place January 22 at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. It will air live on Spike TV.

McKenzie, a contestant on the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter, won his tenth consecutive bout by guillotine choke over Aaron Wilkinson last weekend.
