Jung vs. Yahya, Campuzano vs. Pace Added To UFC Events

A pair of bouts that once would’ve taken place in the WEC have been added to upcoming UFC cards.

Featherweights Chan Sung Jung and Rani Yahya have agreed to a bout at “Fight for the Troops 2” in January, while bantamweights Will Campuzano and Nick Pace will face off at “The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale” in December.

Jung, known affectionately as “The Korean Zombie” for his relentless style, was knocked out by a George Roop head kick in his last bout. His record stands at 0-2 in the WEC, and he’ll likely face expulsion from the company should he lose to Yahya.

Yahya is a former bantamweight title challenger, having lost to Chase Beebe in his bid for the title at WEC 30.

“Fight for the Troops 2” is headlined by a lightweight contender’s bout between Kenny Florian and Evan Dunham.

Campuzano is returning to the Zuffa fold after winning an August fight outside of the company. He went 1-2 in his previous run in the WEC, scoring a victory over Coty Wheeler while losing to Eddie Wineland and Damacio Page.

Pace debuted in the WEC in September, losing a unanimous decision to Demetrious Johnson.

“The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale” is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between long-time crowd favorite Stephan Bonnar and Igor Pokrajac.
