Anthony “Rumble” Johnson
“Rumble,” Rosholt meet later this month
A light heavyweight bout between Anthony Johnson and Jake Rosholt has been announced for Xtreme Fight Night 9.
The event will take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 21 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The promotion announced the news this past week.
Johnson is 2-0 since being released by the UFC for his struggles to make weight in the past. However, the first of those two wins came after Johnson failed to make weight yet again.
Now, “Rumble” has made the move up to the 205 lb. mark. He debuted against Esteves Jones last month, earning a technical knockout victory.
Meanwhile, Rosholt recently debuted at light heavyweight, but, unlike Johnson, he lost via submission. He is 12-4 as a professional and was 2-2 during his time under the Zuffa banner.
