Fallout 4

The voice actor who plays Galaxy News Radio DJ Three Dog from Fallout 3, Erik Todd Dellums, sent out these tweets earlier today:

What’s even more interesting about these tweets is that Dellums confirmed that he was given permission by Bethesda to break the news:

Rumors and speculation have now surfaced over what these tweets could possibly mean. This might mean gamers can expect a new entry in the main games’ series. IGN reported on the possible location of Fallout 4, which rumors suggested would take place in Boston. An anonymous Reddit user posted a thread that released details about Bethesda’s scouting research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The Reddit user posted this message: “The rumors are true, Fallout 4 will take place in Boston. In case you haven’t heard, Bethesda has recently been scoping out and researching Boston. They also have a strong connection to MIT. I may or may not be an MIT employee. But that’s really all I can say for fear of losing my job. I am telling you it will take place in Boston. Whether you believe me or not, how do you feel about a Fallout Boston?”

Bethesda’s last game in the Fallout series was 2008’s Fallout 3. 2010’s Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment.

Dellums’ tweets may also be alluding to a role in a movie version of the series. A twitter conversation between the voice actor and a follower alluded to that rumor:

These tweets do guarantee one thing: Something new is coming from the makers of Fallout.
