So it's post Black Friday and you're STILL looking for new games to snatch up? Well there is still Cyber Monday coming up... Though like last week, pickings are quite slim. The few highlights include:
Epic Mickey (Wii) - Even if you could not give a cartoon rat's ass about Mickey Mouse, there's no denying that with Warren Spector running the show, this could potentially be awesome stuff. We've been promised a darker look at the Magic Kingdom, with dip into Disney's pre-history, i.e. the days before a mouse was the company's mascot but a rabbit, among other things.
Super Meat Boy (PC) - This indie darling has actually been out for a little while now, on XBLA, so why bother with the PC version? For starters, it's cheaper at only $10, as opposed to $15 on the Xbox 360 (though it's a special pre-order sale price, similar to how it was cheap on the 360 it's first week or so of release). Though the key selling point is the promised level editor, which isn't not ready quite yet, but coming soon (and won't be console bound, according to the developers).
Cave Story (DSi) - And speaking of indie darlings, the one game that many say single-handedly kickstarted the current indie game scene is finally coming out on the DSiWare channel. Many have been waiting for a proper portable version for ages now, since finely tuned platformers that echo the glory days of Metroid and Castlevania are the most fun on the go.
