Girlfriend simulators are somewhat a dime a dozen in Japan, though Love Plus for the Nintendo DS has been making serious waves since its debut a few months back. It's hard to understand how it's any different from all the others out there, unless one has actually tried any of them. And from all accounts, it's just different... it's smarter, more sophisticated, and apparently flat out more realistic. Hence why its players have seriously fallen in love with their virtual girlfriends. And fallen hard.
