Super Mario Bros Crossover
I for one am super psyched. Why? For starters, it's by Black Rock Studios and Disney Interactive, the same combination that brought us Pure, aka the best damn racer to literally come out of nowhere last year. And here we have something that appears to be the perfect blend of Burnout, which I'm sure everyone is familiar with, not just speed freaks, and Stuntman Ignition, a relatively obscure gem in which you're racing around the set of a big budget, Hollywood spectacular as the camera is rolling. And while it was fun to weave around Ignition's dynamic and chaotic environments, the action itself was never as fast and furious as one would have preferred. Meanwhile the speed in Burnout Legends was certainly intense, but the go anywhere/do anything mantra made it impossible to focus on the job of racing. So this looks to possibly fix all that!
