‘Glee’ ‘New New York’: Spoilers & Song List

The Glee kids are very far from home in the next episode, “New New York.”

As we know, the rest of the fifth and the entire final sixth season will be set in the Big Apple.

After graduation, Blaine, Sam, and Artie join Rachel and Kurt, but life isn’t quite like what they were used to.

Will the city live up to their expectations? We’ll have to see on Tuesday.

In the meantime, here are some highlights of the milestone episode.

1. Their Faces Are in Times Square

In this behind the scenes video, Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss take us through filming of the monumental episode.

The cast is taking their talent to New York City and breaking out into song in iconic places.

Sam and Blaine sing in Times Square to “Best Day of My Life,” by American Authors.

2. Blaine Is Jealous of Starchild

Blaine moves in with Kurt and the two bask in the glory of living together as an engaged couple.

They sing a duet of “You Make Me Feel So Young,” by Frank Sinatra.

The only thing that is getting in the way of their happiness is that Kurt is still rocking out with Elliot, “Starchild.”

In fact, they sing “Rockstar,” by A Great Big World.

The closeness between Kurt and Elliot causes Blaine to confront Elliot.

3. Sam Is Trying to Model

As he’s pursuing his dream, he couch surfs on Kurt and Blaine’s couch.

The aspiring model is not too pleased with his lack of success in the competitive industry in New York.

4. Rachel Gets the Star Treatment

She returns to New York after an out of town run of Funny Girl.

When she gets back, she is showered with a private car and driver.

She sings her version of “Downtown” in her car, with her head out the window gazing at the city.

5. The Gang Heads to Greenwich Village

Blaine, Kurt, Artie, and Sam also sing, “Downtown,” in Washington Square Park.

Rachel gets driven to the park to reunite with her friends.
