WWE Network: Everything You Need to Know

Original Programming

WWE Network

– A slew of original programs will be shown through the WWE Network. The first live event that will be make its debut on the network will be NXT ArRival. This program is designed to feature the future stars of the WWE. This 2-hour special will air live on the network on February 27, 2014 (Thursday). The planned matches include: Bo Dallas vs. Adrian Neville in a Ladder Match for the NXT Championship, Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn in a 2/3 Falls Match and Paige vs. Emma for the NXT Women’s Championship. John Cena, Paul Heyman, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Sheamus and the New Age Outlaws are also planned to appear. NXT will continue to air on a weekly basis after this first special showing airs
– Every Monday and Thursday evening, 30-minute pre- and post-shows for RAW and SmackDown will air. These will also air for all 12 WWE PPV events
– The other original shows that will only be shown through the WWE Network includes: The Monday Night War, WrestleMania Rewind, WWE Countdown, WWE Legends House (coming in April) and WWE Superstars. A live studio show will also land on the network soon after launch. Already aired episodes will also be archived immediately after being livestreamed
– Each of the 12 current WWE PPV’s will air live for WWE Network subscribers and then be archived for on-demand viewing thereafter
WWE Legends House will debut on April 17, 2014 (Thursday) at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST


Video On-Demand (PPV’s, Documentaries and More)

WWE Network

– Every WWE, WCW and ECW PPV will be available on the WWE Network. Check out this LINK to see the PPV’s that will come to 1st-day subscribers
– New content will be added regularly
– Past content will feature TV-PG, TV-14 and TV-MA ratings. Parental controls and viewer discretion messages will be put in place to block content and warn younger/concerned viewers of what’s being shown
– There will be content on the network that will feature deceased/disgraced pro wrestler Chris Benoit. Over The Edge 1999 (the PPV where Own Hart died) will also be available
– All content will be available in HD
– Past episodes of RAW and SmackDown from 2012 & 2013 will be available for streaming
– WWE DVD documentaries will also become ready for streaming on the network
– A majority of the programming on the network will be free of advertisements. Some promotional content will show up in certain programs, though


Customer Service

– Customer service for the WWE Network will be available on launch day, so subscribers can relay their questions and issues with the service immediately
