The Americans is back on FX for season 2 of the drama. It is sure to have all the suspense, espionage, and romance that made the first season of the show so popular. Set in 1982, it chronicles two KGB spies Elizabeth and Philip, played by Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, acting as Americans in Washington D.C. shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President. Here are the highlights of the episode, "Comrades," that aired tonight.
1. Philip Struggles to Hold the Family Together

2. Elizabeth is Back
After her injury, Philip drives Elizabeth home. Life is almost back to normal, and they throw a birthday party for Henry. Elizabeth's love for Philip is apparent as she reaches out to take his hand when he tells her he is struggling with his decisions.
3. Paige is Suspicious
While her parents are out, Paige looks through her mother's suitcase. She wakes up in the middle of night scared that her parents haven't returned home and goes to check on them. When she opens the door, she gets a big shock as she finds them naked and in a comprising position in bed.

The most intense episode of The Americans so far. These people are ruthless. #TheAmericans
