Rachel Frederickson Wins ‘The Biggest Loser’ on Season 15 Finale

David Brown, Rachel Frederickson, and Bobby Saleem all fought for the win on season 15’s The Biggest Loser, but it was Rachel Frederickson who took home the prize of $250,000. For the finale episode, the season’s contestants all reunited for one final weigh-in, but of course, it was Rachel Frederickson who won the title as “The Biggest Loser.”

Here are the stats:

Bobby lost 52.51%, 188 lbs. off.

Rachel lost 59.62%, 155 lbs. off.

David lost 54.28% , 222 lbs. off.

Rachel was actually a star swimmer in high school and even had scholarships to several schools, as reported by Twincites.com. Instead of continuing swimming, Rachel fell in love with a German foreign exchange student and moved to Germany until they broke up. After returning to the U.S., she worked in a variety of cities and ended up as a voiceover artist in Los Angeles. Six years later she was 100 pounds heavier.

When Rachel first went on the show, she weighed 260 pounds. It’s amazing to see how far she’s come.

In addition to the weigh-ins, former “loser”, American Idol winner Ruben Studdard showed up to give a performance of his new song “Meant to Be.” Studdard looked slimmer than we’ve seen him and seemed to be very happy.
