Tina Fey and Amy Poehler opened the show with a classically funny opening monologue, where of course, celebrities across the board were made fun of by the comedic team. Making fun of Tam Honks, I mean Tom Hanks, along with Matt Damon, George Clooney, and so many other industry elite, was hilarious ... and everyone seemed to have a great sense of humor about each joke. The two women started off by introducing the show as the 71st Annual Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Lee Daniels’ The Butler Golden Globe Awards. They then proceeded to call Matt Damon a garbage person and made a hilarious comment about George Clooney saying:

Gravity is nominated for best film: It’s the story about how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age.

As always, Tina and Amy were fantastic ...
