Disney’s new TV Show Star Wars Rebels has released a very short teaser trailer. Check it out in the above video.
Mashable.com reports the new TV show as being about the following:
The show takes place at some point between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, a span of 19 years. The “Jedi will rise” part is something of a surprise, since the Jedi were decimated at the end of Episode III, and we are told in Episode IV that they are all but extinct.
The plot twist comes into play with a basic outline foreshadowing events when a voice in the teaser says:
To battle the Empire, a Rebel Alliance will form, the Jedi will rise, and you will know the power of the Force.
