Rihanna's Instagram account is often the source of much racy material, but this photo of the superstar with a slow loris primate, which has led to the arrest of two men in Phuket, Thailand, could be the the most damaging, reports The Guardian.
The singer is in southeast Asia as part of her Diamonds world tour. She performed to 65,000 people in Singapore on Saturday night, including Justin Bieber and David Beckham.
The slow loris is a protected species under Thai law and using the animal for profit is illegal. It's official status with the International Union for Conservation of Nature is "vulnerable." The men arrested, aged 16 and 20, are accused of touting the animal to tourists, in order for visitors to have their photo taken with it. If found guilty the men could face up to four years in prison.
The singer's social media came under further scrutiny when she tweeted her review of a Thai sex show, another thing that's illegal in Thailand.
