David Cassidy, former teen idol from The Partridge Family TV show has been arrested for drunk driving according to TMZ.
Reportedly, Cassidy was driving just outside Albany in Schodack, New York this morning when he was pulled over by an officer named Tom Jones. Originally, he was pulled over for having his high beams on when he wasn’t supposed to, but Jones smelled alcohol on Cassidy’s breath. After not performing well taking a field sobriety test, Cassidy blew a .1 on the breathalizer test. In turn, he was handcuffed and taken away at an overnight DWI check point.
To make matters worse, this isn’t Cassidy’s first offense. He has a previous DUI, so he now faces a felony charge for drunk driving. In February of 2011, Cassidy pleaded no contest to driving under the influence in the state of Florida. He then was ordered to serve a year probation and had his license suspended for six months. According to Times Union, he was also ordered to attend a drunk driving school, fined $500, and made to serve 50 hours of community service.

According to ABC Local:
The Police Department said in a release that they were running a DWI enforcement detail on Tuesday between 6pm and 2 am when the actor was pulled over.
Cassidy was released on $2,500 bail after an arraignment at Rensselaer County Jail . His next court date is set for September 4, 2013.
