Apparently, the first six weeks after the Royal baby’s birth, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton plan on staying at her parents’ residence, as reported on Femalefirst.com.

According to Wharfe, Carole and Michael Middleton’s multi-million dollar estate does not have adequate security on the property to ensure the safety of their grandchild. He also estimates that it would cost a fortune to provide and install the proper precautions.

2. Wharfe Says that Times Have Changed

International Business Times reports that Wharfe told Look Magazine:

The world is a much more dangerous place than it was 20 years ago, when we would take William and Harry out. And even then, there was a large protection team with the sole responsibility of looking after them. There are going to be people in every conceivable tree and bolthole, waiting for their baby to be pushed out in a pram.

This is very true and extremely unfortunate. Will they have to lock this baby up in fear for its safety?

3. Princess Diana Would Have Seen the Risks

The late Princess Diana has her own thoughts on this … well, according to Ken Wharfe she does. The IB Times also reports Wharfe giving tips on how security should be handled as well as how Princess Diana would have felt about all of this.

What they will have to do is surround themselves with police, which could be a multi- million pound operation. Security-wise, it’s logistically impossible. Diana would have seen the pitfalls in the plan. She’d have said: ‘Hang on a minute, be careful. I’d advise you not to do it.’

4. There are More Dangers for the Baby Other Than Kidnapping

Just look at what happened to the Royal baby’s late grandmother Princess Diana, whose death was the result of over-zealous paparazzi.

5. The Royal Baby Would Have a Hefty Ransom
