After undergoing a major double mastectomy procedure, Brad Pitt’s bride-to-be Angelina Jolie is back on her feet. According to MarieClaire.com, Brad commented on his and Angie’s new start at the premiere of his new movie in Australia, saying:
It’s onwards and upwards… it’s business as usual. But I’m really touched. The whole thing’s heroic to my mind.
It was just last month Angelina announced to the world that she would be receiving the surgery as the result of a cancer scare. Not long ago The New York Times was reporting on Angelina’s state, admitting an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer’. Since then, sources add that she was seen for the first time after her major surgery in London, supporting Brad at at the premiere of his new movie. We’re glad to see her back, and apparently so is Brad. He told Entertainment Tonight that he was proud as could be of Angelina:
How many people are also battling with the same decision and she’s Angelina Jolie just a great example of that, it doesn’t have to be a scary thing. You can take control of it.
Way to go, Angie. There’s no doubt Brangelina has our support!
Meanwhile, TMZ.com reports Angelina’s upcoming movie, Unbroken. Let’s hope she makes a speedy recovery at her L.A. home so that she can amaze us with yet another one of her tantalizing films!
