Taylor Swift graces the cover of Vanity Fair for their April 2013 issue, and opens up about, gasp, her love life- and has a few choice words for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Amy and Tina won some serious praise after their hilarious hosting gig at the Golden Globes, and at one point, they took aim of Taylor Swift’s oh-so-dramatic love life.
Oh, burn! Taylor is famous for taking shots at her exes in her songs, but apparently she can only dish it out. Amy and Tina warned Taylor to stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son, and Taylor responded in Vanity Fair, calling attacks on her romantic entanglements “sexist.” Swift also name dropped Katie Couric, claiming she once said to her that “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.” Cat-ty!
Amy Poehler got wind of Taylor’s comments and responded to The Hollywood Reporter saying, “Aw, I feel bad if she was upset…That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”
Tina was a bit harsher, telling Entertainment Tonight that “It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke.”
Amy and Tina can expect to be the subject of Taylor’s next album.
