Cruise was spotted with 26-year-old Cynthia Jorge for a night of drinking and dancing at a Manhattan night club where things got intimate for the two. Here’s what you should know about Cruise’s new romance.
1. Cynthia Jorge is a New York Restaurant Manager
Cynthia Jorge is a 26-year-old Queens native and restaurant manager of Beauty & Essex. The restaurant is an upscale dining establishment that frequently serves celebrities like Tom Cruise and has a menu that ranges from tomato tartar to tuna sashimi. A friend of Cynthia said that the restaurant manager always wanted to be famous.
“Cynthia used to work at Benjamin Steakhouse in Midtown before she got her job on the Lower East Side. And before that, she was a party promoter,” the friend said. “She has always liked press attention and wanted to be famous.”
2. She Gave Him Her Card
Cruise met Cynthia when he was dining at Beauty & Essex. After a night of sashimi and empanadas, Cynthia handed him her card. The bold move paid off because the actor didn’t hesitate to give her a call to ask her out on a date.
3. Cruise Called the Restaurant the Next Day
Cruise called the restaurant the very next day. After being put on hold for an apparently long time, he finally left a message for the manager and within 24 hours they were on their first date.

“They did the salsa. He took her in his arms and spun her around the dance floor,” reported the eyewitness. “Tom looked like a pro.”

“At one point, they began grinding together,” the eyewitness continued. “It was straight out of Dirty Dancing. Tom seemed to be in his own world, completely smitten.”

At the end of the night, the night in shining armor Cruise sent Cynthia home in a private car as one of his signature and grand romantic gestures.
