Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore split a little over a year ago, but Kutcher made it official by filing for divorce on Friday.
Kutcher, who filed for divorce under the name “Christopher Kutcher,” cited irreconcilable differences on the document that can be seen here:
The “Two and a Half Men” actor is now dating his “That 70s Show” co-star Mila Kunis. He spoke out about his split with the actress via Twitter shortly after it was announced.
“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and light, AK.”
Moore also made a statement.
“As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” Moore continued. “This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”
