It's official. Stephen King's 2009 novel, Under the Dome is getting a TV adaptation.
The series will see the light of day for 13 episodes next summer-written by Lost alum Brian K. Vaughn (who will also exec. produce)-and will be featured on the CBS network as their big summer tent-pole.
According to Variety, the series will also have a special VOD format as well, that will make the episodes available for streaming shortly after they debut on the network.
Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment will be bringing the show to the network, with Vaughn and King serving as executive producers.
