Seth MacFarlane, recently named as host of the Academy Awards, is under fire from a parents' group outraged over verbal and visual references to oral sex in Seth's hit cartoon American Dad.
The Parents Television Council is crafting a formal complaint to the Federal Communications Commission against the raunchy show, which airs at 9:30 Eastern and 8:30 Central, reports Fox.
A statement from the group's president claims American Dad has "broken the law" and provides a hilarious roundup of some of MacFarlane's most offensive cartoon moments:
In the past, ‘American Dad’ and MacFarlane’s other programs have included scenes mocking people with Down syndrome, implying father-daughter incest, a man masturbating a horse, a baby eating horse sperm, and a character eating vomit and excrement out of a baby’s diaper. Some of those broadcasts are under review at the FCC for violating the broadcast decency law.
Meanwhile, MacFarlane has declined an offer to host the Adult Video News awards — a porn awards show that includes honors for Penis of the Year and Best Anal.
