The counterfeit goods market in Chinatown brings thousands of knockoff hungry tourists into the city, but at the same time robs Uncle Sam of millions of dollars each year. When going undercover to investigate this illegal activity, some reporters would just go with the standard tape recorder and hard-hitting questions. Not The Onion, they're relying on played out racial stereotypes to get the inside scoop. Because nothing really builds a rapport with strangers like blatantly offending their culture.
