As awesome as Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy is, many fans have also noticed that Batman's voice seems a tad rough. I mean, c'mon, it sounds like the guy is mixing concrete in his mouth every time he delivers a line.
Finally, the light has been shed on Nolan's true inspiration for Batman's dump truck sounding vocal tone - Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster never struck me as the crime fighter type, but the guy was psycho over those cookies, and it definitely takes somebody who's not all mentally there to dress up as a crime fighting bat. Though that seems more like the Count's territory.
