Batman's persona may be mysterious, dark, dangerous, and overall terrifying, but if you take him out of the comics and into the real world well, they guy's just a dork in a cape. Yea, his movie costumes are awesome, but most often any attempt at a Batman suit comes off pretty poorly - and the same goes for Robin and Joker.
